Why These Causes Matter to Us

From the beginning, Chick-fil-A founder S. Truett Cathy believed in a simple but powerful idea: “a great company is a caring company.” Everyone’s job at Chick-fil-A is to care for and serve others. No matter the title or job description, our reason for coming to work is to generously share our time, talents and resources.

The Highlights

Chick-fil-A Shared Table Program

For too many of our neighbors, a nourishing meal each day is not guaranteed. Local Owner-Operators work to change that through the Chick-fil-A Shared Table® program, where quality, surplus food that may otherwise go unused is donated to nearby food banks, shelters and other nonprofits to feed children, seniors and others. More than 2,400 Chick-fil-A® restaurants across the U.S., Puerto Rico, Canada and the U.K. participate, and that number keeps growing each year.
