Terms of service

Effective Date: 01 January 2025

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Hire Calling platform (“Service”) operated by Hire Calling (“we,” “our,” or “us”). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Use of Service

Hire Calling provides employers with tools to:

  • Validate donations to nonprofit organizations.
  • Generate Hire Calling Job IDs for use in job postings.
  • Optionally display pre-compliance with the proposed Transparency in Job Applications and Advertisements Act (TJAAA).

You may only use the Service for lawful purposes and in compliance with these Terms.

2. Employer Responsibilities

By using Hire Calling, you represent and warrant that:

  • All information you provide (including donation details and compliance attestations) is accurate and truthful.
  • You will not use the Service to mislead applicants or misrepresent your hiring practices.
  • You are authorized to enter into these Terms on behalf of your organization.

3. Donations and Nonprofits

Employers may validate existing donations, pledge new donations, or make donations through our partner, Make My Donation.

Hire Calling does not itself process or hold donation funds. Donation transactions are subject to the terms and policies of our donation partner and the nonprofit recipient.

Employers are solely responsible for ensuring donations comply with applicable tax and legal requirements.

4. Job IDs and Verification

  • Each verified posting will receive a unique Hire Calling Job ID.
  • Employers may display this ID and provided blurb in job descriptions across ATS systems, job boards, and other platforms.
  • Hire Calling does not guarantee applicant engagement or hiring outcomes.

5. Fees and Payment

Employers agree to pay all applicable fees for the Service as described in their agreement with Hire Calling.

All fees are non-refundable unless otherwise required by law.

6. Intellectual Property

All content, branding, and technology of the Service are owned by Hire Calling or its licensors. Employers are granted a limited, non-exclusive license to use Hire Calling Job IDs and blurbs solely for authentic job postings.

7. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

8. Limitation of Liability

Hire Calling provides the Service “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Hire Calling shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of goodwill, or missed hiring outcomes.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Hire Calling, its officers, employees, and partners from any claims, damages, or expenses arising out of your misuse of the Service, false information provided, or violation of these Terms.

10. Termination

Hire Calling may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for violation of these Terms or misuse of the platform.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Nebraska, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
